Here’s a few favourite destinations:

spend a day at the beach

Tregardock beach

Tregardock beach

As well as the popular beaches, head off the beaten track and you’ll find a few peaceful gems like Tregardock. It’s a 4.5 mile walk from Tintagel along the South West Coast Path and well worth a visit, especially in mussel season! The Tintagel Circulars - Walk - South West Coast Path

Visit Polzeath

My childhood home and where you’ll find one of Cornwall’s best drinking hangouts. Rum Bar’s right on the beach. It’s quirky, mad and the place to be during the summer (except when it rains - it’s outdoors!).

Try surfing

We’ve teamed up with Freewave Surf Academy so you can try surfing and coastering at an exclusive, discounted rate all within 2 miles of the hostel at Bossiney bay. Tick something off your bucket list or laugh at your mates as they try and ride the waves.

It’s not as easy as it looks!

Port Issac

Port Issac

Go to Port Isaac

Some TV bloke called Doc Martin lives there, apparently ;) Plus it’s pretty quaint and you can try coasteering or kayaking with the guys from Cornish Rock Tors

Walk the south west coast path

Dolphins is right on the South West Coast path so we’re popular with hikers. Walk to nearby Trebarwith Strand, see the dramatic Cornish landscape and walk off your hangover. But try not to fall off the cliff! Home - South West Coast Path
